Fundraising Success

The success of your fundraiser is determined by price and your advertising strategy. Inform the members of your organization and have them spread the word that you are fundraising at Mackenthun's. We have found that a minimum of four signs (22'' x 28'') listing the name of your organization, information about your program, how the funds will be distributed, plus the items you are selling and the retail price is important to donating customers. You may employ other creative advertising strategies with the approval of Mackenthun’s.

Fundraising groups choose the products they want to sell and set their retail based on profit they desire for the event.

Mackenthun’s Suggested Fundraising Items

• Mackenthun’s Homemade Hot Dog: 75¢
• Mackenthun’s Homemade Bratwurst: $1.00*
• Mackenthun’s Seasoned Hamburger Patty: $1.00*
• Mackenthun’s Homemade Pork Patty: $1.00*
• Soda (can) or bottled water: 25¢

*These prices include the cost of listed product plus Mackenthun’s Bakery fresh bun, napkins, and condiments.

Your group will need to supply:

• Grill (We suggest using a gas grill.)
• Grilling utensils
• Crock Pot or cooker to keep cooked product warm
• $50.00 start-up change fund

A $50.00 Cleaning Deposit is required for the Mack Shack. This is refundable at the completion of the event after the Mack Shack has been properly cleaned and inspected.

Your groups will need to provide a grill(s) and cooking utensils. Mackenthun’s will provide the Mack Shack and appropriate product. Please inform Mackenthun’s 10 days prior to your scheduled event what products you plan to sell to ensure sufficient quantities are available.  

If you decide your group is interested in raising funds through our Mack Shack Program, please fill out the application below with the requested dates for your event. To verify available dates, please call Sandy Bengtson at 442-2512 ext. 760. Mackenthun’s will call your group contact person within 1 week of receiving your application to confirm the dates for your event.
